The Local Authority has advised us that we must follow the correct procedures around the transfer of children between Infant and Junior schools. This system means that there will no longer be an automatic transfer between Infant and Junior schools.  Although, we are now a Federated school, we currently still hold separate DfE numbers and therefore this process will apply to us.

To help parents to understand this process, the School Admissions team have produced a booklet, which is available to download via:

If you wish your child to apply for a Year 3 place at St Ursula's Catholic Junior School please apply online before the deadline of 15th January 2020 via:

You must also complete the Diocese of Brentwood Supplementary Information Form (SIF) below and return it to the Junior School Office with all the documents requested on the form.  If you are unable to print, a paper copy will be sent home with your child or you can collect one in person from either School Office.

If you would like to move your child to a Havering primary school for year 3, you will need to make an in-year application via  the Synergy Parent Portal (previously known as ICAF).

We realise that this may cause some confusion and concern among parents, however, this process is statutory and the School Admissions team and all schools must adhere to the School Admission Code.  If parents have any concerns please get in touch direct with the School Admissions team via

If you would like to view our school please make an appointment with the school office:  Juniors: 01708 343170   Nursery and Infants: 01708 345200.
